The college football national title chase has drastically changed since the Alabama loss and so has the odds for a champion.
According to Bovada, Florida State is a 1-3 favorite to win the title.
Ohio State is 4-1, Auburn is 5-1 and Missouri is 12-1, while Alabama still has a shot but is listed at 50-1 by the website.
Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is 1-10 to win the Heisman Trophy.
The University of Louisville opened the week as a 6.5-point favorite in Thursday's game at rival Cincinnati.
The line, according to VegasInsider.com, has since dropped to 3.5.
The Cardinals and Bearcats will play on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Nippert Stadium. U of L is 10-1, 6-1 in the AAC, while Cincinnati is 9-2, 6-1.
The latest round of football bowl projections are in and it still looks like the University of Louisville is headed to Orlando, Fla.
All 10 major news outlets who project the bowl game matchups throughout the season have the Cardinals in the Russell Athletic Bowl.
The Russell Athletic Bowl has the first selection from The American Athletic Conference after the conference champion is selected to the into the BCS.
The key wording is selected. Louisville is a great matchup for the Orlando bowl even if the Cardinals don't finish second in the league. All of the Florida guys, Teddy Bridgewater and the fact that the basketball team plays in Orlando on Dec. 31.
"It's a great fit," said a source close to the situation.
Eight of the bowl projections have U of L playing Miami, while SB Nation has the Cardinals playing against Boston College and ESPN's Braw Edwards had U of L vs. Virginia Tech.
All three would be good matchups.
The Orlando Sentinel would seem to have the best handle on the bowl game in its own backyard and the newspaper is projecting U of L vs. Miami.
Now, that would be fun!
